DO Perl XAMPP Linux have modules already?

I am new in programming and I have some problem in installing modules in perl. I read the packages of XAMPP and I saw perl included to it. I would like to know if the Perl in Xampp Linux have modules already installed like Net::FTP, DBD::MySQL, and others.

What command should I used in order for me to execute the Perl.

I installed XAMPP in my windows Vista OS plus the Perl Adds-on and I didn't encountered any problem. The site also provide what modules do the adds-on have. http://www.apachefriends.org/winxampp/perl-info.html

XAMPP is an awesome LAMP package for beginners like me because everything is in the package. It is easy to install and use. I thank the team of XAMPP for it. I also hope that someone could help me in my inquiry. Thanks again.

To be specific to my problem, how to install modules in XAMPP Linux Perl? I need to install and use DBD::MySQL and NET::FTP as part of the exercises of the reference book that I have. Since I am using XAMPP Linux, I have to adjust in the procedure in http://www.cpan.org/modules/INSTALL.html which is dependent to the Perl bundle in many Linux distribution.
