BUG WITH UPDATE command XAMPP V1.7.1

Hi all,

I have been working on a pretty big project from home and recently started using XAMPP to create my in home -- Laptop Apache/MySql environment. Everything was going well until I started noticing that on all PHP files I have written that use the UPDATE command weren't working/updating data in MySql DB.

Does anyone know if there is a security option I may have activated that I need to change for the UPDATE function to work through php?? Because it works fine when I run the commands straight through the MyphpAdmin panel jst doen't update through php.
