How to deploy .Jsp pages or .class sevlets under htdocs

I have heard Java can be deployed under apache http server . I am inquisitive about the procedure . Can anyone tell me how to do such things ?

If you mean *.jsp, you dont mean Java but Java Server Pages. You need Tomcat Server for that (is not part of Xampp). Tomcat is a special Apache version with builtin *.jsp support.

What about servlet classes do they need Tomcat too ? Is any form of java other than javascript supported by the Apache http server ?

Java have nothing to do with JavaScript.

JavaScript is not a form of Java. BTW: Apache can't support JavaScript, because JavaScript is a client site language.

A Java Applet is also a client site technologie.

JavaServer Pages (and Servlets) is a server site technologie, and you need a webserver which supports JSP and Java Servlet technologies.

Apache HTTP Server (part of the XAMPP package) does not support this (without an extension). Apache Tomcat supports this (as a standalone webserver or as a module/extension for the Apache HTTP Server)

Please how do I make APACHE TOMCAT an extension of APACHE HTTP SERVER?
I can run my jsp and servlets on my apache tomcat, but it will be nice to run it via xampp.
