xampp mysql

Apache is running ok. But mysql not working. Im new at this. Vista machine. I do remember hitting admin in the control panel last night on the mysql section.
This is what happens when i try clicking mysql_start

Have you advanced searched the XAMPP for Windows forum for mysql can't (or won't) start as this has been addressed many times before.

Are you logged into Vista as an administrator?

Have you disabled UAC?

What do you see when you run xampp-portcheck.exe from the xampp folder?

What do you see when you go to:
http://localhost/

If you see the XAMPP Welcome Page, can you run all the demos including the CD Collection demo?

What do you see when you go to:
http://localhost/phpmyadmin

How do you know that MySQL has not started?
The screen cap appears to say it has started.

What do you see when you run xampp-control.exe from the xampp folder?

Can you Start MySQL from the XAMPP Control Panel?

Warning - DO NOT click on the Admin... button next to MySQL in the XAMPP Control Panel or you will have even more trouble to sort out.
