No.

Only the tools (Apache, MySQL, PHP) are open source, not the panel.

the batch files apache_start.bat, apache_stop.bat, mysql_start.bat and mysql_stop.bat allow you to start and stop the server and dbase.

closing the dos windows of apache_start.bat and mysql_start.bat while apache and mysql are running will also stop them.

if you want a lighter version of the control panel, get dtx: http://zedfiles.com/DTX/
the source is included this time.

This same question seems to pop up quite frequently, and I've already searched the SVN and searched the forums looking for an answer as to where the latest XCP 2.6 source code is.

I've found multiple threads (all by different authors) dating back well over a year and a half ago, all asking the same exact question of "Where's the Source Code for the XAMPP Control Panel?"

viewtopic.php?f=16&t=41149

viewtopic.php?f=16&t=36680&p=147200#p147200

viewtopic.php?f=16&t=38880&p=162549#p162549

Does anyone have the latest XCP source code for the most recent XCP 2.6 ( XAMPP Control Panel ) version? Could someone please take the time to make this XCP source code publicly available, and post it here so that others (including myself) can please download it (for updates, fixes and personal customization). Thank-you.

Has anyone received a response from Carsten Wiedmann as to where the latest XAMPP Control Panel (XCP) updated source code is?

> I've even gone so far as to try and reach him through his work email

It seems that others have tried to contact him, and have had no luck in getting a response. Is there someone that speaks German that could possibly contact him, and ask him to please post the latest source code for the XCP here in the forum.

Then please post a response here, so we at least know what his response was. He seems to ignore all requests from anyone that speaks english, and BigWetDog talked to Kai Oswald Seidler about it, and we haven't seem to have gotten any response.

Kai Oswald's contact information seems to be here:
http://oswaldism.de/

Carsten Wiedmann's contact information seems to be here:
http://www.facebook.com/people/Carsten- ... 1041688727

His Twitter account seems to be here:
http://twitter.com/c_wiedmann/status/3171942973

He posts his Twitter posts in English, so it seems that he does speak (and understand) English. Seems odd that he would ignore over a year and a half worth of requests asking for source code for the XAMPP Control Panel ( XCP ).

I sent him a message on his Facebook and his Twitter. Hopefully he responds. ;-)
