MySQL will not start after updating to 1.7

Hello,

I recently upgraded to XXAMP 1.7 and MySQL stopped working. However, Apache continues to work just fine. I'm hopping it's just a simple fix like cutting and copying a file over a config file or something, but I'm out of ideas.

I use XXAMP to run a Moodle website. And yes, after upgrading to the new XXAMP 1.7, the MySQL service will no longer start. When I try to start the service, I get the error:

Could not start the mysql service on Local Computer
Error 1067: The process terminated unexpectedly

Error log contains messages like:

option 'thread_stack': unsigned value 65536 adjusted to 131072

Plugin 'InnoDB' disabled by command line option

G:\xampp\mysql\bin\mysqld-nt.exe: unknown option '--skip-bdb'

Aborting

G:\xampp\mysql\bin\mysqld-nt.exe: Shutdown complete

Any ideas as to what's going on? Particularly while config files I need to pay attention to? IE: php.ini or something? I hope this is enough information for some clues to go off of
