TOMCAT(JSP) in XAMPP ?

Was sollte alles noch in XAMPP rein? Was kommt definitiv bald? Was kommt so bald wie möglich, dauert nur noch etwas? Was kommt wahrscheinlich nicht rein?

Hai,

wäre eine Integration von TOMCAT in XAMPP möglich ohne JAVA gleich mitzuliefern? Also ich mein, einfach nur ne Anleitung mit dazu wie man IBMs JAVA mit reinfummelt?

Manchmal wären JSPs schon hilfreich, vor allem wenn von Skripts von anderen kommen.

Wär cool :)

Würde mich freuen wenn du die suchen funktion dafür verwendest das thema Tomcat/JSP/Java haben wir schon öfters durchgekaut!

Hi,

wie PC-Dummy schon gesagt hat, haben wir das Thema schon öfters besprochen.
Für Linux ist Kai zumindest mal daran gewesen eine Version zusammen zu stellen.
Wie weit er letz endlich gekommen ist kann cih nciht sagen, habe nie eine "Testversion" erhalten.

Unter windows gibt es für ein paar wenige ein alpha Release...
ggf. mal kvo anschreiben via pn/email und ihn bitten dir den Link zur Verfügung zu stellen?
ggf. auch den wunsch äussern den Apche mal zu aktualisieren, das das Package schon etwas älter ist.

Der alpha Bundle mit Apache und Tomcat, ist gut doppelt so groß!
Entpackt ~200mbyte

Tomcat an sich ~30mbyte (entpackt)

Probleme bereitet SUN mit ihrem SDK (~49mbyte) was benötigt wird.

Auszug aus der Readme:
Redistribution

The term "vendors" used here refers to licensees, developers,
and independent software vendors (ISVs) who license and
distribute the Java 2 Runtime Environment with their programs.
Vendors must follow the terms of the Java 2 SDK, Standard
Edition, Binary Code License agreement.
Required vs. Optional Files


Kai wo findet man gleich wieder die volle Lizenz dafür? Die README ist nicht gerade sehr aussagekräftig.

a, wir benutzten nicht den Quellcode.
b, wir verändern ihn nicht.

blablabla.... wir brauchen es für tomcat, ist also erlaubt, wir ersetzten nichts in dem sdk Packet "the Programs add significant and primary functionality to the Software," Auslegungssache? bzw. was solln der unsinn da?

Achja, und wir bräuchten für Xampp ne "Lizenz" in der auf die von Apache, Sun usw. hingewießen werden.... *duck*

Ja, Du hast absolut recht. Wir brauchen eine XAMPP-Lizenz, die auf die Lizenzen der enthaltenen Pakete hinweist bzw. die von den einzelnen Lizenzen vorgeschriebenen Daten enthält.

Kommt auf die TODO-Liste... :?

Huhu Pc!

Das wäre großartig wenn sich da jemand drum kümmern könnte. Ist allerdings auch viel arbeit. Zunächst mal alle Lizenzen durchlesen und verstehen und dann die ganzen Bedingungen, die über die GPL hinausgehen, aufschreiben. Also wie z.B. das beim Apache das Copyright irgendwo auftauchen muß.

Hier Hilfe zu bekommen wär super.

geht tomcat mit lampp prinzipiell?!

ich hab mich durch diverse beiträge gelesen und bin mir dennoch nicht sicher - kann man (wenn man kann ;-)) tomcat mit lampp prinzipiell zum laufen bringen - und wenn wie?!

habe als newbee die aufgabe, einen webserver mit unterstützung für servlets aufzusetzen und suche nach brauchbaren lösungen. für das ding sollen in zukunft java-applikationen mit zugriff auf oracle laufen (als alternative zu oracles applikation server, da der zu überdimensioniert wäre) - any ideas?!
