How to run Pear commands on Leopard?

Hi,

Please note I already have XAMPP already installed and running on my Mac with Leopard. Now I am trying to install an application using Pear.

And the command I am trying to run the is the following

"pear channel-discover components.ez.no"

and then

"pear install -a ezc/eZComponents"

And the answer I get is "command not found"

Where is the pear command located in XAMPP for Mac? And How I can run that command?
