Server error! on login

I got the problem of server error! on login to my local host
I'm using Windows XP SP3
The problem started showing up when I set user password for Mysql and local host
error: error 500

Server 500 errors are best researched using xampp\apache\logs\error.log file as the log will contain the clues.

What version of XAMPP?

BTW you are the Webmaster mentioned in the error 500 message so as a Webmaster you are supposed to be able to fix the error.
