xDSL - XAMPP 1.7

Postby DizzyThermal » 01. February 2009 01:49

Hey guys, just made a Native install of xDSL on my Xbox 1 and I have a 100GB hard drive for it!

I went to apachefriends.org and downloaded the XAMPP file and installed it to /opt/lampp/ and I can use the terminal to get it running... But when I go to http://localhost.. Nothing? :(

I have ports on my router open to 80 for apache and for 3306 for the mysql... what's going on? :(

Thanks in advance guys!

If you open a browser on your XBox, your router is not involved.

What do you mean? I have XAMPP running and I have tried my IP too.. http://myipaddress/ and that doesn't work either..

Neither does my Xbox's IP (http://192.168.1.5/) It hangs at

"Waiting for http://localhost"
"Waiting for http://192.168.1.5/"
"Waiting for http://myipaddress/"

:-\ Not sure what's going on...

I too was trying xampp 1.7 on my xbox using xdsl 0.7, also on xdsl 0.5. Everything appeared to start without error, yet I couldn't access xampp's start page via IP or localhost. I checked my error log in the lammp logs directory, and saw I was getting a "Segmentation fault (11)" error. Most likely the reason I couldn't access the start page.

I uninstalled 1.7 and installed 1.6.8a, and so far all seems t be working.
