Postby geoffreymsnster » 05. December 2008 09:17

I have installed Filezilla on server, I can see the welcome message from ftp server, I can't get and view any file on server side although server listed the connected IP address on console. WHEN I attempt to connect this server, dialogue anyways say: The connection timed out. :x :x :x :x

You connect to your local XAMPP/FileZilla with "ftp://localhost/"?

but remote site can't .

That's often a problem with FTP and a nat router. Your remote client is using passive FTP (or active FTP)?
