GOING TO UPRADE FROM XAMPP 1.6.6a to 1.6.8 - I'M SCARED!! :o

I AM GOING ATTEMPT TO UPGRADE FROM XAMPP 1.6.6a to 1.6.8 VERY SOON... BUT I'M SCARED!!

I know it's just a simple run of an installer, but all my websites are running great.

I'm a little nervous about the process of upgrading and potentially screwing everything up.

Has anybody had any serious upgrade problems?? Any advice you wish to share on how I can ensure the upgrade process won't give me any problems?? Any stories?? Is there really a need to upgrade from a security perspective?? As far as I am concerned, everything is great aesthetically and functionality-wise.

Any advice, input, stories from anyone would be greatly appreciated before I go through with this!! :o

Do a backup before upgrading. Then if it doesn't work, you have the option of restoring the backup.

Thanks Dave...

So is it as easy as backing up the entire current "xampp" folder and simply dropping it in "C:\" if something goes wrong??

Much appreciated!! :)
