Hi does anyone know why this may be happening please.

This is the error I get in event viewer

Faulting application apache.exe, version 2.2.8.0, time stamp 0x47904924, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 6.0.6001.18000, time stamp 0x4791a7a6, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x00065844, process id 0xb00, application start time 0x01c9182763b5b1f2.

apache just crashes sometimes when anyone say clicks a link on the forum, not all the time just some times. and also if I shut down the server I get this error also.

Thanks in advance, w4vy

EDIT: Have just noticed this error inbetween the error above and another error which is not really an error but a warning, but anyway here is the other error :-

Faulting application apache.exe, version 2.2.8.0, time stamp 0x47904924, faulting module MSVCR90.dll, version 9.0.21022.8, time stamp 0x47313dce, exception code 0xc0000417, fault offset 0x00068389, process id 0x13f8, application start time 0x01c918329bf510ac.

Thanks again.

I experienced exactly the same problem with Apache 2.2.8.0 in ntdll.dll 5.2.3790.3759 at offset 0001bd02.
Help appreciated !
Thanks.

as far as I can tell m8 is was the xampp package 1.67 itself that was faulty. I know they won't admit it but out of ALL xampp setups I have tried 1.67 didn't want to entertain me at all. And with it saying Faulting Module MSVCR90.dll well thats what I imagine it was all complied with. Anyway i solved my problem by getting rid and going back to 1.66 and now 1.68 and I have no problems like that now.
