New in xampp... is this working correctly??

Hi!

I've just installed here on my windows XP the xamp..
it appears that everething works fine, but when I enter http://localhost, it doesnt open the pages in the htdocs folder, but opens the xampp admin page.. where u can see the status, phpadmin, etc...

must I set the initial page for the htdocs??

- replace index.php in htdocs with your own one or delete this file.

I did, but the pages in php still not entering!
What could be?

Please explain exactly what you did. If you replaced the index.php in your htdocs folder, you must also clear your Browser cache.
