Apache mod_ext_filter input filter doesn't work

Postby fred38410 » 12. September 2008 12:10

Hi,

I have an Apache issue: I can't setup any kind of input filter for mod_ext_filter (ExtFilterDefine).

The same filter defined as output works fine, but defined as input ends into an error. It isn't a matter of SetOutputFilter / SetInputFilter ;) !!!

The error is:
[error] [client 193.49.124.107] (9)Bad file descriptor: apr_file_close(child input)

Actually, whatever the command defined in ExtFilterDefine, it is the same error as upper (cmd="/notanexe" or cmd="/bin/sed s|a|b|g" ), so it sounds more an internal module error when it's an input filter.

Did any of u already try input filter with mod_ext_filter ?
(I always did with output, that's my 1st time trying input).

Regards,
Frederic

Ok,
I guess then this mod doesn't work with input filters.

I solved my pb using few RewriteRules with map.
