Overwritten XAMPP index.php file

Postby rhhollin » 03. September 2008 21:17

While working with Joomla , I inadvertently overwrote the XAMPP index.php file with the Joomla index.php file. Is there any way to obtain a copy of the the XAMPP index.php file without reinstalling XAMPP? I am running XAMPP 1.6.6a

Download the windows zip version, extract either the index.php directly (be sure you have the correct one) or extract the complete archive into a temporary folder and copy the index.php into your running installation.

I inadvertently overwrote the XAMPP index.php file with the Joomla index.php file.

If you mean the file "http://localhost/index.php"? This file only makes a redirect to "http://localhost/xampp/".
--> So there is no real need for this file.
