define test server in dreamweaver

Hello.

I have searched this forum and google with no luck.

I am using dreamweaver CS3 on Leopard. I am trying to set up my testing server and receive all kind of errors when I go to test the sql conection.

I think it has to do with the path to the test server. Can anyone walk me through this or point me in the right direction?

Thanks for the help. The issue I had was the path to the database. I tried different ways (localhost:3306, etc.) but could not connect. It became very frustrating and I was running out of time on a project, so I switched to MAMP. Within 15 minutes everything worked correctly.
