this is what I get... dunno what it means.. I have run xampp on windows... this is my first time running on Linux..

please let me know what the problem is..

Your linux (which?) is probably a 64bit version and therefore not compatible to Xampp (32bit).

openSUSE 32bit.. on MAC G3

XAMPP for Linux is compiled for I386.
