Big help needed with instaling xampp on a fresh windows!

Hi there, i have curently xampp installed but i'm planing on reinstaling windows, no formats or anything just reinstaling windows becaose its becomed too slow with too many processes running!

Anyways the xampp folder will remain, now the question is will the MySQL database be the same when i install xampp on the fresh windows instalation or do i have to back-up my mysql for my website and after i install xampp again to insert my back-up of the mysql!?
Also can i save the settings i use now so that i don't have to create new mysql users again, setting passwords and security and so on...
