Problem with myphpadmin connection

Hi, I had phpMyAdmin working for some time I set a password, also changed config. Now I get an error and access denied when I try to connect myphpadmin.
Error I get;
Access denied; phpMyAdmin tried to connect to the MySQL server, and the server rejected the connection.

I tried to run the file resetroot.bat file, still did not help. I have uninstalled and reinstalled xampp at least three times, nothing.
