Possible to start LAMPP without FTP?

Postby jester805 » 11. April 2008 19:42

Hey guys-
I'm new to all of this, but I have SuSE Linux 10.3 running and the newest version of XAMPP. Everything works great and I love it!!

My question is: Can I start LAMPP without the FTP server???

Thanks

Yes, of course.

Simply edit the file "lampp", it's a simple shell script and remove or comment out the corresponding lines which starts the ftp server. It's not as difficult as you might think.
