MySQL bleibt deaktiviert

Hallo.

Ich habe heute XAMPP für Linux installiert.
Leider bleibt MySQL deaktiviert. Kennt jemand das Problem?

Google und die Forensuche haben mich leider nicht weitergebracht

Ich weiß auch nicht, welche Informationen hierfür noch wichtig wären, aber ich bitte mal trotzdem um eure Hilfe.

Also wenn in dieser Datei wirklich nur "tl" drinsteht, muss die Antwort wohl "nein" sein...

Sorry, ich war bei /etc/hostname.

Meine /etc/hosts:

Und wenn du in der Shell den Befehl "hostname" benutzt, was wird da ausgegeben?

XAMPP: - warning: unable to determine IP address of '_none_'

Diese Meldung kommt ja eigentlich vom proFTPD (der auch nicht läuft). Kann dir aber nicht sagen, warum der als Hostname "_none_" annimmt... (hab kein Linux)

Was MySQL angeht... wird ja eigentlich kein Fehler gemeldet. Im Dataverzeichnis von MySQL gibt es aber ein Errorlog für MySQL. Evtl. steht ja da was drin.

Dadurch, dass ich hostname und hosts vorhin verwechselt habe, bin ich auf die Lösung gekommen.

Für andere mit dem gleichen Problem:
Meine /etc/hostname war leer.
Ich habe dort einfach meinen Hostnamen eingetragen und XAMPP neu gestartet.
So einfach kann's sein.
