Problem installing Tomcat Addon

Postby vradesign@gmail.com » 10. March 2008 18:04

I am having some issues when trying to install the Tomcat addon. Whenever I try to install the addon I get the following error:

"Sun J2SDK was not found! Exit!"

I have downloaded and installed the J2SDK (jdk-1_5_0_15-windows-i586-p.exe) although I've changed the directory where the JDK was installed to:
C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5

I've added a user environment variable called "Path" and set the valule to: C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5\bin\

So I belive I have the JDK installed and configured correctly.

Is the Tomcat installer looking for a specific directory for the JDK and because I changed it to something other than the default install directory, it can't find it?

Please any help would be greatly appreciated...

Were you able to work out this issue? I am having the same problem. I also changed the install directory.

The registry appears to be correct, but it is the JavaSoft/Java Development/1.5/JavaHome key that is correct for me.
