What are you trying to do that requires you to do a binary upload to localhost?alexmungel wrote:How do I upload in binary mode to localhost?
If your trying to upload to localhost using FTP then you may well have errors.alexmungel wrote:I am trying to test a subscription software and it requires me to transfer in binary mode. It is giving me errors because I didn't.
Do you know how to do this?

Extract the files from the script's archive (zip file etc) to a directory on your desktop then just copy or move the files to the directory in your localhost web site using Windows Explorer in the normal way or simply extract the files to the directory location in your localhost web site - don't use FTP for localhost file transfers.
Thats all you need to do.

In Filezilla (client):
Default transfer type:
Edit >> Settings... >> File transfer settings >> ASCII/Binary >> Binary
Current transfer type:
Transfer >> Transfer Type >> Binary
