Server Problems

Hi all i am having server issues when i go to local host and then to sNews16 which what my page is spose to be but every time i got to this directory it comes up with this error

Server error!

The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request. Either the server is overloaded or there was an error in a CGI script.

If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster.

Read the Apache error.log file for clues about Apache Server 500 errors:
.\xampp\apache\logs\error.log

just a quick one where about you put that in and is there anything that goes in front of that

You don't put that in anywhere, you go there in Windows Explorer because it is the location of the error log file.
.\ is the root directory you installed XAMPP in which might be C:\ for example or could be just about anywhere on your PC, but you did not include much information, did you?

You open the error.log file in your text editor.

BTW you are the Webmaster mentioned in the error you posted so now might be a good time to do some reading and learning.
