can't access localhost from another computer on network

Hi all,

I have installed xampp on CentOS5 and it all went well.
I have started the apache service without error and it is running.

When i go to the ip number of the linux box on my computer (running vista)
in firefox it comes up with the connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

The only changes i have made was to stop the ssl service and to change the server name from localhost to the ipnumber (in httpd.conf)

I can ping the linux box from my computer and visa versa.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
