joomla touble

I have instaled xampp and it's working. Then I tried to install joomla an everything was OK, I removed INSTALLATION directory and I was in admin-control panel, that all works. But I have problem whit this mesage when I trie tu acces the site it's allways on:


if (){ }else{ }
Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Unknown MySQL server host 'mysql_host' (11001) in C:\xampp\htdocs\joomla\index.php on line 6
Could not connect

this is data I entered tu install joomla:

localhost (host)
root (msql name)
(blank password)
joomla (base name)

What should I do?

This is a Joomla installation issue and should be directed to their forums or tech support.

If you entered the details of your database, as you have posted, then the issue is with Joomla.

You can check the database details you added on installation are correct in phpMyAdmin and in the Joomla configuration file under the Database configuration section.
