xampp at startup

Postby KallistaAEnvarou » 24. December 2007 11:20

I'd like to figure out how to get xampp to start up when I start up this machine. I've tried to put it in my start menu, but it opened and then immediately closed. What other options do I have?

Start the various XAMPP components as a service using the relevant bat files.

xampp\apache\apache_installservice_2.2.bat

xampp\mysql\mysql_installservice.bat

Or from the Xampp Control Panel tick the Svc box next to the relevant component.

They will then start and remain loaded until you reboot again or you use the relevant uninstall service bat file or un-tick the relevant Svc box in the CP.

Wait, I'm confused. Will that start up all of xampp (Apache, when I start up the computer so that I don't have to start it up manually? Where do I find the xampp control panel?
