Problems with the Windows version of XAMPP, questions, comments, and anything related.

I installed XAMPP 1.6.4 for Windows, but it isn't able and recognize MySQL (installed as a service).
Launching phpMyAdmin, it tells me "unable and load php_mysql.dll module".
Is this a known problem?

I guess, your PHP is not using the "php.ini" from XAMPP.

You guess!
In effect, it was using Filemaker publishing engine one; renaming it to php.bak solved all troubles.
