integrating webmin with xampp (apache not starting)

Does anyone know where all the default run files are for webmin? I tried to look it up manually through all the lampp folders, but I think I may have miss ed something that won't let apache start now.

is there an english webmin xampp addon? the webmin addon they have right now only seems to show up in german.

Are you trying to control XAMPP's install of Apache via webmin? If so, you simply go to the configure module section of webmin and change the various settings. Something like the below should help.

File or directory to add virtual servers to
/opt/lampp/etc/extra/httpd-vhosts.conf

Apache server root directory
/opt/lampp/htdocs

Path to the apachectl command
/opt/lampp/bin/apachectl

Command to start apache
/opt/lampp/lampp startapache

Command to sop apache
/opt/lampp/lampp stopapache

Command to apply configuration
Run stop and start commands

Path to httpd.conf or apache2.conf
/opt/lampp/etc/httpd.conf

Path to mime.types
/opt/lampp/etc/mime.types
