Directory mismatch: help!

Postby The Frederick » 13. September 2007 13:42

I can't get xampp working properly on my flash drive, no matter how many times I delete and reinstall and format. It always tells me:

Current directory: I:\xampp
Install directory: C:\xampp

Warning: Directory mismatch.

How can I fix this?

Try the links in the DTX promo below.

=================================================
Take a look at the new DeskTopXampp launch control for XAMPP and XAMPPlite (DTX.exe)

I highly recommend DTX.

the same problem on usb.
browser hangs on loading localhost.
strange that this occures only on my home pc. when i plug the usb in any other machine, apache and localhost works just fine.
in the first times i made experiences with installing xampp services, and i changed the drive letter for the usb, but beside c:\windows\my.ini, i can't find other files referring to xampp directories.

I'm using PortableApps, that DTX thing wouldn't work.
