appache is not running

hi all help me
i just install XAMPP in linux(rhel) it install successfully
but when i start lampp
apache is not running and a message is there that " some server is already
running"...
what should i do?

Maybe you have to stop the Apache daemon, that ships with your RHEL:

sudo /sbin/chkconfig httpd off
