2 problems

For some reason my password won't work for phpmyadmin so i need to know how to either reset it or check my files to see what the password is and username is...


also where does my pc store my database table ? i backed up the xampp folder so im assuming its got my apache database stored there i want to copy n paste it into the correct place so itll load up when i log in (eventually)

Just login using root as the username and leave the password field blank.

If this is a fresh installation/re-installation then you don't need a password for MySQL/phpMyAdmin until you create a new one in the Security section of the Welcome to XAMPP page.

i set a username n password... then it said i cldnt get in ... no idea why though . so i dont remember my username cos its not root my password cant be wrong.
