I have XAMPP installed in Windows XP Professional and would like to change the DocumentoRoot "C:/xampp/htdocs" and <Directory "C:/xampp/htdocs"> in httpd.conf so I can point them to another machine in my network. I have tried DocumentRoot="\\computer-name\folder" and <Directory "\\10.1.1.18\folder"> but it didn´t work.

Why not:
- what happens?
- error.log?
(BTW: you should use forwardslashs and not backslashs)
