Lost phpmyadmin password

I have lost my phpmyadmin password in xampp. Where can I go to reset that?

AFAIK you just use your MySQL name and password.

PHPMyAdmin doesn't need any further access control since it can't do anything without a valid MySQL user account.

(It still might have additional access control options, though I don't see the point).

If thats what you lost then you can change the password for the root user via a command prompt following, you can look it up in the MySQL manual.
