SQL syntax error

Postby urthllc » 28. August 2018 15:06

I'm new to MariaDB, I know how to do the basics and have created DB's and Tables but for some reason I'm having issues getting this one to create:

CREATE TABLE property_tbl ( AccessibilityFeatures Text(1000),
-> AccessoryUnitType Character(75),
-> AccessoryUnitYN Boolean,
-> AcresBottomLand Decimal(16),
-> AcresCultivated Decimal(16) );
ERROR 1064 (42000): You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MariaDB server version for the right syntax to use near '(16),
AcresCultivated Decimal(16) )' at line 4

What am I overlooking here?

Thanks,
Tony

I have 350 lines to enter and used Notepad++ to create the file, is it possible that there are hidden characters from Notepad++? How do you import Table definitions if you can't use notepad++ ?
