MY SQL is runnig but I am unable to connect to it

I have XAMPP version 3.2.1. Both Apache and My SQL are running.

I am not able to connect to the database, however. The error message is the following;
Error message: SQLSTATE[HY000] [1045] Access denied for user 'mgs_user'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

I am running this as a localhost and I can see my list of apps, but when I select ones which must connect to a database, the error above is what arrives.

Please assist.

Error message: SQLSTATE[HY000] [1045] Access denied for user 'mgs_user'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

There is obviously no "mgs_user" in your MySQL Users. Xampp does not come with "mgs_user", seems you installed a software which requires mgs_user as valid user.
