SQL Export not working.

Postby mickeymouse » 25. March 2013 12:57

The "Exporter" function in PHPMyAdmin of XAMPP does not work.
No matter which parameters I set, when I click the "Exécuter" nothing happens.

Thanks

It seems nobody knows the answer to this one.

Does anyone have an idea as to where I could get an answer?

Thanks

I just tested an export on xampp 181. it works fine.
(You'll find the exported file in the downloadfolder, configured in your broser)

Thanks for your help.

I presume if it did it without asking me where to store it, the exported file would be in "My Downloads" folder. But there is nothing there.

Can you tell me where in my browser (Internet Explorer) the download location would be specified?

Thank you

Thanks Willi,
I searched for *.sql and didn't find any exported file.
I also searched for *.xls since I asked for an Export to Excel file, but here again, no success.

I did an Export on another PC which uses Windows XP and it worked fine there.
It allowed me to name the file and to save it wherever I wanted.

So it may be an XAMPP-Windows 7 interface problem but what?
