MySql legt keine Datenbank mehr an nach XAMPP Update

Habe unter Redhat Linux 8.0 Xampp 1.4 installiert und bis jetzt lief alles bestens - jetzt habe ich jetzt den Update auf 1.4.2 installiert und Mysql weigert sich, neue Datenbanken anzulegen.

Die Fehlermeldung:

SQL-Befehl :

CREATE DATABASE `neu`

MySQL meldet:

#1006 - Can't create database 'neu'. (errno: 28 )

Offensichtlich ist mysql nicht in der Lage, das notwendige Verzeichnis unter /opt/lampp/var/mysql/ zu erstellen.

Was tun??

Wäre dankbar für jeden Input..

Error code 28: No space left on device

If you get his error, you need to check all filesystems where MySQL operates. It may be single filesystem or as we recommend you can have datadir, tmpdir and log files split into dedicated filesystems. MySQL often creates temporary tables for some queries - most of them are placed in tmpdir, but some into database directory (e.g. ALTER TABLE). You must ensure, that there is enough free disk space available for MySQL.
