Our Client, a world leading Financial institution is currently looking for a MYSQL expert DBA with strong Linux experience for a very long term project.

Trading systems experience will be looked at very favourably.

Core Skills:
Database Administration in MySQL & MySQL Cluster (min 2yrs) Working with Linux - (min 3yrs) Linux bash scripting - (min 2yrs) General SQL tuning knowledge - (min 5yrs) good command of C++ basic knowledge of Java

Project
Development of an electronig trading system in a complex multi-year project on a Linux-based environment.

Qualification:
Focus is clearly on database administration and tuning. Development and maintenance of C++ and Java code is a minor role.
Ability to analysis and systematically solve problems. Ability to produce concise, useful documentation for operations.
Good communications skills.
Ability to work in a team in a large project.
A good command of English is a must, German nice-to-have.

Additional Information:
Start asap. Contract until the end of this year with option of extension
