CHANGE THE PATH THAT MYSQL SAVES MY DB

Postby VEINTYUNICO » 19. November 2008 14:28

HI! I'm havin a problem.
I'm using XAMPP and MySQL.
From MysQL Admin, i copy a little example "my. ini setup" to change the path that MySQL put my data base files.

I modify this line
datadir="C:/xampp/mysql/data" and i changed it to "D:/PHP/DB"

and save it like "my.cnf" in the bin folder.

It works great, but due a damn virus I reinstall Windows XP and re install everything. And when i configure again to use my DB, it shows nothing.
PHPMyAdmin sais "No tables found in database."

What did i do wrong?

Oh! YES! I'm using innoDB tables
