Wie benutze ich ein bestehend MySQL Server?

How can I get xamplite to use an existing MySQL server instead of the one it installs for itself?

stopt the xampplite MySQL-Server, start the 'normal' and you can use the 'normal' MySQLserver for your projects.

or will you use both mysql-server on one PC ?
in this case you must change one of this mysql-server port connection.

OK that makes sense. But is there some way to change the config on xamplite so it does not try to start its own mysql server when I run xampstart.exe? I always have mysql server running on my machine, and I think when I run xampstart.exe it launches an second instance.
