Well, I am also a newbie here. I found this while searching about it.
You can follow the below steps to do so.
1. Sign up for an account with an SMS gateway provider, such as Twilio or Nexmo.
2. Get an API key or authentication token from the provider that you will use to authenticate your requests.
3. Use PHP to send an HTTP request to the provider's API endpoint, including the necessary parameters such as the recipient's phone number and the message text.
4. The SMS gateway provider will then send the text message to the recipient's phone.
