Install xdebug on Komodo with LAMPP

Postby phper » 08. January 2007 16:08

Hi,
I am attempting to installing xdebug on Komodo for use with the LAMPP installation on a Ubuntu server ver. 6.10. When I issue the ./configure for xdebug, the following errors messages are returned:

grep: /opt/lampp/include/php/main/php.h: No such file or directory
grep: /opt/lampp/include/php/Zend/zend_modules.h: No such file or directory
grep: /opt/lampp/include/php/Zend/zend_extensions.h: No such file or directory
Configuring for:
PHP Api Version:
Zend Module Api No:
Zend Extension Api No:
Cannot find autoconf. Please check your autoconf installation and the $PHP_AUTOCONF
environment variable is set correctly and then rerun this script.

Any ideas on how I can resolve these issues so I can get Komodo debugger up and running.

(Do I need to compile php-5.2.0 separately so I can get the 3 missing .h files, also I am not sure what to do about the$PHP_AUTOCONF issue?)

Thanks loads in advance for any assistance you can provide!

so I can get the 3 missing .h files,

You must install the XAMPP development package.
