PHP files not being parsed

Postby swellhog » 28. February 2006 12:38

I have installed XAMPP on a XP pro system my problem is that PHP scripts are not being parsed by the Apache server/PHP engine. :?
Is there maybe a directory pointer missing somewhere for Apache to find the PHP engine...
I installed XAMPP using default instalation without the mail server or the FTP server.

Thanks in advance

My apologies the XAMPP scripts work fine..
Part of the problem I have found is my misunderstanding of how the browser needed the PHP scipts to be addressed to enabled them to be parsed

Have same problem with linux installation.

In demo-mode works ok. When I connect virtual hosts, it fails to parse PHP-files.

Is this relalated to the virtual host being placed on other path? (/var/www/examplehost.com) etc.

Any help... Please.

I mean that when your VHOST outer the ServerPath the Global-Setting with parsing of PHP are disabled.
You make in the VHOSTS in the <Directory> Section the parsing comments for PHP.

"AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .php3 .php4"
