Rewrite, Redirect or so, Apache Config-Tool

Postby gibor » 08. November 2015 22:20

G'day mates,

I'm getting crazy while I'm trying to configure a Linux/Apache rewrite / redirect rule.

Situation:
System with typo3, .htacces with loads of Redirects and other stuff (options with -f -d ,...)
Apaches Doc-root: /www/www.xxx.com/htdocs
ToDo:
a permament redirect of /www/www.xxx.com/htdocs/xxx to /www/www.xxx.com/htdocs/xxx/yyy (directorys) but in the browser the URL should be like https://www.xxx.com/xxx/<ANYTHING.HTML>

All my attempts failed because ? I think something with typo3-config rules.

Any idea?

Is there a tool available wich analyses the config of the apache (local) and shows its result?

thx. for help.

No, at least no "debugger" for rewrites.

Why dont you simply use an ALIAS for that problem? Simply insert

Alias /xxx /www/www.xxx.com/htdocs/xxx/yyy

into your Apache configuration, it should do the job.
