.htaccess redirect

Postby magace » 09. October 2014 00:37

Im sure this is simple but I keep messing it up.
Basically I need the root of my webserver: http://173.x.x.x/ to redirect to: http://173.x.x.x/test.php

I have tried messing with a few examples I found online with no luck.

Thanks!

DId you try a Rewrite?

i.e.

RewriteRule ^$ /test.php

And - what should happen if someone enters http://173.x.x.x/index.php or http://173.x.x.x/anyfolder/index.php etc.?
