I am currently running Apache 2.4.2 on a WAMP server on a virtual machine, and i'm using the Joomla content management to create a website on that server. After enabling URL rewriting in Joomla, I followed steps I found online to enable mod_rewrite on my apache server. The steps I followed were to: Rename htaccess to .htaccess, uncomment "RewriteBase" in .htaccess, and to uncomment "LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so" in my apache configuration file. Despite this, I still recieve a 404 error when attempt to click on any links on my website. Below is the code from the .htaccess and apache configuration files. Any help is greatly appreciated!
