Apache wont install as a services.

I am quite new to xampp apache. I am trying the install apache and mysql as a service. however, my control panel doesn't allow me to tick as an service.
then i try installing as instructed, however, the following msg came out.

Installing Apache2.2 as an Service
The system cannot find the path specified.
Now we Start Apache2.2
The service name is invalid.

The current control panel deactivate the service buttons if you don't have the priviledges to register them.
So start your control panel with enhanced administration rights (rightclick context menu -> run as administrator)

then i try installing as instructed, however, the following msg came out.

Installing Apache2.2 as an Service

I am guessing that you execute the \xampp\apache\apache_installservice.bat?
Apache2.2 is not part of XAMPP 1.8.3. So please correct the XAMPP information in your board profile.
