Hello! I'm having a frustrating issue with my Apache, PHP5, MySQL set up on Windows 7.
When attempting to access the sites on my local host I receive a "The connection was reset" error message. After spending several hours on google, I am still no closer as to figuring out why.
So here's some more information:
The apache error log:
[Thu Aug 12 10:31:51 2010] [notice] Parent: child process exited with status 255 -- Restarting.

Other info:
::1 is commented out in my hosts file
Basic sites seem to run fine, like PhpMyAdmin and simple hello world type stuff.
When testing a more complex site that returns the connection error, where the code is dying is on a string assignment in the PHP. The PHP code should be fine as it is deployed on 4 other servers and has no issues.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
